Tjipana, not following tradition

Tjipana is a sister who has decided not to follow traditions. She has neither the Himba hair style nor does she wear the Himba ornaments. Even after some time, I didn’t manage to understand why. In some villages this kind of decision is very badly felt. But in Kongonda, Tjipana does not seem to be blamed for it.

Her technique to make me speak is rather straightforward. She says to me “speak”. I am not usually talkative, and besides I feel really handicapped by the language barrier. Titi and Riomandanda are more successful with their methods.
